You might consider today’s image as part of a series of photographs of classic trucks that also included Photographing “Yoga Truck” with an Epson RD1. In this case I’m photographing a vintage GMC pickup truck using a Canon EOS 60D.

And while my review of the camera was kind of lukewarm, I was impressed enough to actually buy one of these versatile cameras and for a long time is was my go-to camera for studio portraiture but I also shot a lot of cars and trucks with it.
How I made this shot: Mary first sported this classic GMC truck while we were on our way to lunch one day. We were both struck by the color combination it presented. I made this exposure with the EOS 60D using an EF 28-135mm IS lens (at 33mm) with an exposure of 1/100 sec and f/22 and ISO 400.
