The First Saturdays Car Show in Colorado Springs, CO is a “Cars N Coffee” event where fellow car lovers gather to see cars from all makes, models and ages. In addition to all the local automotive beauties we will also feature a host club each month. In august, 2016 it’s the Jaguar Club of Southern Colorado, so hopefully we’ll get to see some cars such my beloved to look at but challenging to former Jaguar 12-cylinder XJ-S. (Yes, the water is fake, added using a Photoshop plug-in called, not surprisingly, Flood from Flaming Pear Software.)
The car show is held the first Saturday of each month from May-October. Staging is from 7-8 AM and the show runs from 8-10 AM. The car show are located in the West Dick’s Sporting Goods Parking lot. And even though this event is hosted by the Jaguar Club (they do get a special display area) everything from Fords, to Porsche, to Chevrolet are welcome everyone.
To get your motor running, Whole Foods will be onsite selling their premium coffee and breakfast goodies.
I’ll be there with Mary and will be (hopefully) shooting the new Fujifilm X-T2 mirrorless camera with 18-55mm lens.
